High temperature bearing application for cast aluminum bucket arm

In the high energy casting process, molten aluminum or aluminum alloy is forced out of the furnace and poured into a mold at high speed and pressure.

Depending on the type of needle used, the material part enters the mold continuously with the hot needle at a base temperature of 600° C – 700° C

GMW – High temperature bearings are made from material AISI52100, manganese phosphate surface coating according to ISO EN9717 standards and lubricated with a special grease (MoS2). This lubricant allows the bearing to operate stably even at temperatures up to 350° C,

All high temperature bearings, suffix HT1 and HT2, have technical product codes, no grease shield, one heat-resistant steel shield (Z) or both sides (2Z), synthetic plastic shield. Heat resistant NBR (2RS1)

High-temp bearings HT1 (350°C) and HT2 (280°C) have standard product codes such as:

6000… 6001..6002…6003…6004…6005…6006 up to 6010…6020
6200…6201..6200…6203…6204…6205…6206 up to 6210…6220
6300…6301..6302…6303…6304…6305…6306 up to 6310…6320

GMW – High temperature bearings suffix HT1 up to 350°C are manufactured with a one-piece, highly functional cage, with low friction. Manganese phosphate coatings help the bearings ensure corrosion resistance, and good adhesion of the lubricant will ensure the equipment operates safely and effectively in production.

The benefits of heat-resistant bearings for aluminum bucket arms

The solid lubricant compound contained in the bearings helps increase the load-carrying capacity and improve the anti-seize feature of the robot bucket arm.

The bearings are designed to handle very high temperatures up to 350°C degrees Celsius at the bucket mounting location

Easy to disassemble and maintain after long periods of use.

The grease can withstand wet environments, corrosive environments and salt.

Highly economical because the bearings produce their own lubricating compound to help the bucket arm operate smoothly

Reduces friction well, prevents the bucket arm from sticking under the oven temperature

The product contains other solid lubricant compounds to help achieve high load-carrying and heat-resistant performance.
